It feels like home to me, it feels like home to me It feels like I'm all the way back where I come from It feels like home to me, it feels like home to me It feels like I'm all the way back where I belong I love you Spicer! So glad to have you out of the hospital. So glad you are feeling better. I love you so much sweet boy!!! Spicer had to have surgery yesterday as a result of a Staph Infection on his inner thigh. He will likely be discharged Saturday. I am so proud of you sweety! Thank you for being such a big boy!!!
Spicer has a boo boo. In fact he has a big BOO BOO (Staph Infection). He is on meds and in some pain but is really taking it like a trooper. Get well soon my sweet boy!!! I love you!!!
I just dropped off Spicer at his first day of 1st Grade. I am so excited what this year will bring. We got his clothes ready last night. He picked out his first day of school outfit and shoes. He sat everything out. We went over his school handbook and we signed everything. We talked about the rules and all the information he needed to know. I packed his lunch and gave him some money for breakfast. We called his dad on the way to school and he told him how excited he was. We got in line and I dropped him off. He got out of the car and smiled. A school offical said, "Don't forget to say goodbye." "Bye Mom, I love you!" he said with a big smile. "Goodbye sweety, have a great day at school." And just like that it was over in a flash. My son was off to his first day of school. I love you Spicer!!!
Spicer: Mommy I don't think I want to climb up the big hill today.
Mommy: That's ok Spicer you can wait for me at the top of the hill. Spicer: No that's ok Mommy if you can climb the hill I want to climb it with you. I love you Spicer! 'Cause there's always gonna be another mountain I'm always gonna wanna make it move Always gonna be a uphill battle Sometimes I'm gonna have to lose Ain't about how fast I get there Ain't about what's waiting on the other side It's the climb, yeah! I was so excited when I picked up Spicer today. I discovered two things. 1. He grew another foot. 2. He has lost 4 teeth! Spicer's hair was getting a little shaggy so I took him to get his hair cut. I let him pick any cut out of the book (brave I know). He picked a fauhawk. It's rather cute I might add. I told him it was the perfect first grade cut. Welcome back Spicer! I am so glad you are home.
